$29 Trillion?!

29 thousand billion! 29,000,000 million! Let me spell that out.  29 million-million.

OK, now take a moment to think about this.  Dragging it out, 1 Trillion is one thousand thousand million (1,000,000,000,000), 1 Million is 0.000001 trillion.
1 Trillion is 1,000,000 Million.

Can we understand this at $7.25/hr. or even $50/hr.?

How’s this? 29 million millionaires!

As of Thursday, December 13, 2018, the current population of the United States of America is 327,797,944 (based on the latest United Nations estimates found here).   $29 trillion split up to $88469.133290232 per person alive today.

Are you fucking kidding me?!

NOPE!

What could you do with $88 thousand dollars for each person in your family?  What could the homeless do with the same?

Now to the point.  This is what it cost each of us as Americans to bail out the thieving banksters that caused the 2008 collapse in the first place with their selling of bad mortgages to people that couldn’t afford them in the first place and then packaging them up to sell to other banks and investors as mortgage backed securities.  They then bet against these piles of shit that they created, laughing all the way to the bank and receiving massive bonuses after the government bailed them out and supposedly came down on them for doing so in the first place and 10 years later, they haven’t changed a thing and you’ll see it happen again.

For an entertaining way to get a bit more educated about this, I recommend seeing this movie if you haven’t:

The movie may seem to be over your head, but they bring in some awesome actors to explain everything so that most of us can easily understand what they are trying to show us.
